Brant Widgeon is an Astronomical Image Enhancement Engineer. Many people are surprised to hear everything that goes into making the beautiful celestial images that have brought us so much awe and wonder. One of the most technically difficult parts of Brant's job however is dealing with space cats.

Tweet this video with #spacecats to share Brant's inspirational story.

    Obviously fake. Cats don't exist.

Make your own, obviously they'd lack the authenticity of the real images, but I'm sure it's possible to get good results; if you do some, please show them, here on YouTube, with links to download them.

Sorry dood, but all the latest research shows that in recent times, all around the world, Cats do indeed >Dogs; and in both the Western world & Muslim countries Cats >>> Dogs.

It's only in Asia, where the Dogs still >Cats; and that's only because they make for good eating.

I'm not 100% sure, but my guess would be a tool, commonly used in graphic manipulation programmes, known as the 'Warp' tool; which is so named in honour of Gene Rodenberry.

This is a reference to his classic TV show 'Star Trek', where the commonly held belief is that "Warp factor" was a direct speed measurement, whereas 'insiders' know it was actually the number of cats 'warped' aside per hour.

Due to irregular cat distribution in space, it was more a theroetical maximum distance travelled.

Removing the cats optically may reveal the celestial phenomena they were obscuring, but how do you correct for their gravitational influence once they're removed?
