I've just realised where the Spice Girls got their inspiration from. Rula was after all the original Ginger Spice and Julie being the only one that could sing a proto Sporty Spice. Well at least it could be true?

Before MTV or even 'music videos' the British came up with Rock Follies (76 &77) a rock & roll soap opera. An excellant series and woe to you youngsters whom missed how cool this was.
