A 10 gallon is fine for a couple of years. Once he/she gets older and more towards maximun size you may want to get a 15-20 gallon. If you want tankmates, the bigger the better. If they have more room, they will be less likely to bother other fish. Although you can never tell how they will act towards others until you put them together. I would also suggest keeping your puffer in a brackish tank. You can more than double their lifespan, and they will be much happier.

It took me a long time to get goldfish with tetras. And somehow you not only did that. You did that with a puffer!

how long has it been since u changed filter pad ? or maybe you need a new filter... of you could get a fish that cleans the tank... i dont know any names but they have them at every pet store

buy the eggs from ya local aquatics and culture ya own it is very easy to do, they called brineshrimp to most people
