when i was there in epcot for a field trip i totally missed this ride and am glad you posted it thanks.

The original ride was much longer...you can see one of the fade cuts in the lungs...it was a great concept that got a bad wrap due to its simulator...the queue was bland and didn't feel like Disney...
-
I went on this when I was about four or five. I couldn't stop crying and it gave me nightmares because I felt so sick and gross after seeing it....
-
Also is it just me or does this video seem louder than It used to be? like I never heard such creeky noises when I was on it.

This ride was a bit scarier than star tours. Star tours to me as a kid was whimsical I kept asking when will he ever go the right way? but here the crew seemed genuinely freaked out like "Pressures too strong rudders won't respond!" so everything was a bit chilling, and then u add the roughness, making this one of my faves. Also one time It broke as they counted down it went 3-2-1 *black screen* which was funny.

wasnt this directed by leonard nimoy as well

yes. Nothing from Cranium Command and Body Wars has been moved, YET. I heard they might be using the Body Wars simulators to test and use for Star Tours II

I remember riding this when I was young, I think 4 years old. I remember it shook me around a bit, maybe due to my height. But, I barely remember that entrance line.
I'm sorry to see this ride is now closed. I pretty much know a lot about the human body, seeing I am a heart patient.
I think that Tim Matheson, Dakin Matthews and Elizabeth Shue did pretty good in the roles of this ride.
Despite it's all closed off, I wonder if the props and all are still back there at Epcot...

Is that saftey announcer man the dad of Doug Heffernan in King of Queens?
I was there for the grand open and was the first to ride. see video posted.

It was a prety fun ride. The only problem was the nauseating effect some of the scenes caused. Although it used the same system as Star Tours, it caused more motion sickness. Other than that, it's awesome.
