Your Daily Politics Video Blog: Iranian President Ahmadenijad has claimed defiantly that his reelection was legitimate, but allegations of election stealing have sparked protests in the streets of Tehran. Does the Obama administration accept the results? And what does the outcome say about Barack Obama's push for reconciliation between the West and the Arab world?

  • Yeah. If Obama took the Bush approach and started trash-talking Iran(and the parts of the Muslim world that don't give us oil), the Iranians would be in the streets burning American flags and chanting "Death to America". With Obama's approach, Iranians are in the streets calling for their leaders to resign. And it didn't cost us any U.S. troops. So which approach is better?

  • Nice hair, Mitt, but the people who are buying your take on Obama as apologizer/appeaser-in-chief, are putting Iranian oil in their Hyundais, and buying Made-In-China - Sold In Wal*Mart schlock... yesterday, today, and tomorrow... and have NO IDEA whyhowcome they can't get a high-paying, no-work job like yours.

  • true that my friend

  • All these world leaders are all in on the New World Order. Fuck the president, fuck the vice president, they are all in on it.

  • If Barack Obama shows support to Moussavi this only gives Ahmadinijad the opportunity to go out there and tell eveybody that he is the Iranian's choice, and that Moussavi is the west's puppet, just like the Sha was. I would like it if neocons understood that you can't change the world just by making ''bold statements'' sometimes it's more efficient to think before you speak. When Reagan said ''tear down this wall'' it helped because germans love america, most Iranians are hostile to the US.

  • Neo Cons had 8 years to deal with Iran their way. Nothing, absolutely nothing good came of it. Clinton (Bill) & Joe Bidon had 8 years of kissing the asses of "reformers" and nothing came of it. Bottom line Iranians will overthrow their oppressers when good & done with them. It is bullshit that the Pubs are asking for a bold statement. Remember the Axis of Evil? Didn't do shit to change anything. Wanna help? Stop letting ex-mullahs immigrate to the US to hide.

  • Love how Mitt "full of shit" Romney wants Obama to go with his "gut" and try and get us into another possible 100 year war like his buddy Bush did. These neocons don't give a flying fuck about Iran, they just want to make Obama look bad so they have a fighting chance in 2012. But what do you expect from a party that has been hijacked by flag draping fundamentalists.

  • Iranian Protests looks like PROGRESS to ME!!!

This is how the United States began !!!!

  • Scarborough. Man, he needs a kick in the balls

  • Sure the republicans are the experts on stealing an election.

Lets see what THEY think everybody should do...

  • I think it's great that they are letting McCain and Romney talk, it's a great reminder of why the voters rejected them in the first place.
