It has been two weeks since the car wash and two weeks since I've heard from Michelle. I don't why it bothers me so much but it does. But tonight we're having a football game so I can have a chance to talk to her, as I sat on the bench with all the other cheerleaders watching the football game I turned to Kate.
"Hey Kate, do you know where Michelle is?" I asked but sadly she told me she didn't know. I sighed I was going crazy, I needed to talk to her.
"Girls!" Mrs. Daniels yelled, "cheer time!" Once she said that all but about five cheerleaders got up and on the track which was around the football field. "Jane you're on top." Mrs. Daniels told me, I never did mind heights I just didn't really enjoy being on top of the pyrimaid since only two people were holding my feet and that was it. I held up my pom poms and smiled, while I was smiling I looked through the crowd of people trying to find Michelle but it was no use, then I relized Austin wasn't here either.
After we were finished I watched the football game and we won as always; twenty to eight, when I got home that night I got a text from Michelle which surprised me.
'Hey girlie! Wanna come to the House of Blues tomorrow to see We the Kings with me?!' I smiled at the text she knew I loved that band and since tomorrow was a Friday I couldn't see why not. I changed out of my cheerleading uniform and into a tank top and shorts then ran downstairs.
"Mom!" I yelled and ran into the kitchen seeing her folding laundry with Joe watching her while he ate an apple with peanut butter.
"Yes sweetie." She replied, I sat on one of the stools and began telling her the great news.
"Can I go to the House of Blues tomorrow night with Michelle? We the Kings are playing and you know how there my favorite band of all time!" I explained to her, then she looked at me and I began doing my best puppy dog face. "Please."
"Well...." Mom started,
"Their won't be any guys there with us." I reassured her and she began talking again
"Well, you don't need to babysit Frankie and you have no homework." I crossed my fingers and legs hoping she would say yes. "That would be fine." A smile played on my lips as I walked over to her and hugged her.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" I screamed with excitement then rushed upstairs to text Michelle the great news.
The next night I took a very long time to get ready knowing that I might meet one of the band members and I had to look my best, I might even meet a cute guy my mom didnt have to know everything. Once my mom dropped me off at the House of Blues Michelle texted me that she was already there, as I walked through the sea of people I saw finally saw Michelle, it looked like she was kissing someone. When I got closer I finally saw who it was; Austin.
"Hey." I greeted the two and I looked at Michelle with half glaring eyes.
"Jane guess what me and Austin are dating! I hope that's not wierd for you." Michelle told me, I knew she didnt plan for this to happen because like I said guys were attracted her like bugs are attracted to bright lights.
"Oh no it's perfectly fine because....I'm dating someone too." I said and bit my lip I didn't even know why I said that but it's too late now.
"Is he here?" Austin asked, I swallowed all my fear and replied a simple yes.
"I'll go get him." I told the two and began walking through the sea of people trying to find someone.
I bit my lip not finding anyone until I spotted a guy leaning against the wall. I swallowed all my fear again and walked straight up to the guy.
"Hey can you pretend to be my boyfriend for just a second?" I asked and looked back seeing Austin and Michelle were walking towards us.
'What?" The guy questioned. but before he could say anything else I pulled him into me and began kissing him.
"Jane what's his name?" I heard Austin ask, I pulled away and looked into the guys' eyes praying he would play along.
'Chase." He responded then flashed a huge white smile.
"Wow Jane I never knew guys with lip rings were your type." Michelle said surprised, I looked at Chase, even with a lip ring he was totally hot.
"Yeah Chase is definitely my type."

The guy playing Chase is at the end of the video, I think he's cute. Do you think Jane and Chase might date or is she just using him for the night? So many questoins.
