An early interview (6 weeks into the project) with founders Britta Riley and Rebecca Bray featuring the iconic first 25-plant windowfarm built in Riley's apartment during the winter of early '09. Six months later, the project has become an international movement. Riley is turning the Windowfarms Project into a non-profit. To find out how you can support the effort and participate, go to windowfarms.org.
I know exactly what you mean! I have done diy solar R and D more or less on my own for 4 years and it is so hard!
I only have about 5 collaborators even though I have solved some mighty big problems.
Check my dripper trackers and clock based trackers for an alternative way to water your plants!
Some of you will love them, I am sure.
By the way, I started using airlift in the pulser pump ( no moving parts!) in the late 80's and a student of science is looking at it. 2 decades later!
