The carved neck heel is a very nice feature. Its a feature on my Carvin guitar that I purchased about 10 years ago and I really love it.

I havn't played one yet, but as long as it doesn't cut back on the tone I see no reason why it should be any heavier or bigger.

how do guitarists do the string scraping and hit a note like zakk wylde and stuff, ive seen many do it, sorry if i cant really explain it, its like you sweep the strings but palm muted and you hit the note you want then
