Misael Garriga was born in La Isla Del Encanto, Puerto Rico, with Cuban parents. He has traveled to many nations, and has performed with several artists and performers such as: Michael W. Smith, Sandy Patty, Patty Cabrera, Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz, Pepe Ojeda, Héctor Hermosillo, and Alvaro López, former musician of Luis Miguel, among others.

In addition to that, he is a composer and arranger with wide experience in the Hispanic market, where many of his compositions sound distinctive, and are heard around the Latin world. To add up to his versatility he is a music teacher, has a Bachelor in Business Administration, and he loves to teach music to the children. Many of his students have become successful, and are well known in the music industry, like Raymond Ayala, also known as " Daddy Yankee," a top-reggaeton puerto rican artist.
