@tracygeri It is on a CD SLOvenian and CROatian Polkas & Waltzes. The Slovenian music is by The Bill Bevec Orchestra and the Croatian by The Polka Quads. The Polka Quads did The Waltz of the Wind.

There was no "pathetic Ilyric movement" (whatever that means). The founders did not want to imply any pan-Slavic ambitions; they were organizing for the Slovenes in the USA. The founders of what would eventually become SNPJ had been members of Czech or Bohemian societies prior to organizing the SNPJ - they learned the business of managing a fraternal society hands-on. They decided to use Jednota because the other societies used it. It became a word accepted in the Slovenian-American lexicon.

You are correct - the founders chose that word on purpose back in 1904.
nice... if i could i would be attending this festival, but I am unfortunately from Slovenia and is somehow too far to travel... hope to have some luck in next years :D

VERY NICE NARRATION, you have a good voice for this! great video, you know what is said about people from west PENNSYLVANIA..I say no finer people can be found, murtha!!
