How to Get Published with Lisa Saunders Tappan Library 11 7 2009

Rockland County (NY)- based author, Lisa Saunders discussed her experience getting published and the publishing process at-large. Saunders is the Campus Communications writer at SUNY Rockland. A Cornell University graduate, she is the author of the humorous memoir, "Anything But a Dog!"; the children's novel, "Ride a Horse, Not an Elevator"; the non-fiction book, "Ever True: A Union Private and His Wife" and the e-booklet, "How to Get Published."An experienced speaker, Saunders has spoken at universities, international conferences, and local clubs about finding ways to cope in adversity, how to get published, and the preventable, little-publicized causes of birth defects. This video offers snippets from Saunders' workshop on "How to Get Published" presented at the Tappan Library in November 2009.
