This is my new The Loar mandoilin LM 600 playing Blackberry Blossom. I know it's a little rough but it is what it is. I really like this mando and think for the money it's the best bang for your buck

  • @jcline9244 These Loars kick BUTT. They play like butter, and sounds amazing. The sound will age to be even more great with time. I do love mine, I had mine 2 weeks, and everyday the sound improves. It's opening up very nice.

  • I just purchased a Loar 600 a couple weeks ago. It has the EBONY Board. I seen that some has a Rosewood Board. This Mandolin is top notch. They really did a great job copying the Gibson 1920's Loar. The Loar sounds exactly the same, as A Gibson Loar. The action is very low. Gibson has nothing on this mandolin. If The Loar was made here in the States. It would sell for the price of a upper line Gibson, Weber, and a over priced Collings. This loar will hang with them all, and beat alot of them.

  • That's a really a Nice Mando , But I'd really like to hear it again , say in about a year after you have thoroughly played it in ....New Mandos need at least that much time before you can really judge them for their tone...I believe it will transform ... :)
