Ditto. A great review. Having the option to adjust line level gain from 3-8 would have been ideal. I don't see the logic in that than saving production costs.

Backdrift (Honeymoon Is Over) by: Radiohead is played in the first few seconds of the intro. Anyone else notice that?

mm, stability of the usb connection? I've had nightmares with my 8r on late 2008 unibody macbooks. I agree with all you say on the review but that. I'd also like to mention that M-audio's customer support hasn't replied to my complaints in a FULL YEAR so this makes the product useless to me.
There are no driver updates either that should address all these usb inestability issues.
