"Can I have an autograph?"
"Can your sister sign my back? You know, like a tattoo?"
I swear, I had a headache halfway through 1st period. And I still had 7 more to go.
Somebody kill me now.
I didn't even know half of these people. By the end of second period, I had a binder full of handwritten notes, phone numbers, fanmail (Are you flippin' KIDDING me?), love notes, song requests for SlapTie (who am I, the MAILMAN?), secret admirers (what is this, flippin' Valentine's Day?), and a whole bunch of other crap that just...kinda pissed me off. I could've started a recycling center with all the notes I had.
Who uses an ENTIRE sheet of paper just to write 'I love you?'
I mean seriously, you are like, a half-year off with that note, pumpkin.
So, by lunch I had emptied my locker two and a half times. The half was because it was half full when I checked it. Me, Jillian, Ben, and Jack sat at our own table, refusing to let anyone sit with us.
"So...how's the fame going?" Ben asked, smirked.
"The next time I see those JoBlows I'm gonna kill them," I said.
"Dude, that blows," Jack noted, shaking his head.
"Sorry, Mark," Jillian said.
"It's not you guys' fault. Why are people such fakers?"
Jack shrugged.
"Are you gonna eat?" Jillian asked, motioning at my untouched tray.
I pushed the tray away. "Not hungry."
"So what do you have next?" Ben asked.
"P.E.," me and Jillian said at the same time.
"Cool, I've got Japanese."
I gave him a weird look. "Where do you come off getting a class like that?"
"I picked it, duh," he said. "And...the teacher is hot."
I laughed and shook my head. We all got up and went to our next class.
P.E. couldn't be THAT bad, right?
