Before introduction of the American "Tree Climibing" techniques, Japanese forest workers have been using tree branches and ropes for work. Very handy as it requires only a rope (branches you can find anywhere in the forest), we want to improve this skill in order to grade up our survival capabilities.

  • Yes there are other quicker methods to climb conifer trees, but we decided to pursue this 1) for the sake of keeping tradition and 2) it does not damage trees and it is super simple.

  • i preffer to shot the throw ball up on the top of the tree and climb with the rope, is more fast and it doesnt damage the tree :)

  • wow, it must take your half the day to get up the bloody thing.
