Crackers and Hackers at IL-Hack 2009 Conference

On Sunday we visited the IL-Hack 2009 conference organized by Yaniv Miron aka Lament which had drawn many many Hats (white, black, red, green...). This is a first glimpse into the event which we hope to bring more of in the coming days.

@KrispyApplez Hacking should not be a criminal offense! Unauthorized hacking already is a criminal offense. White hat hackers are the only people standing between you and Identity theft, intrusion, and vandalism.

@computerhelperhacker Hacking is not a criminal offense. It can be a considered a criminal offense if you are trespassing and you are not authorized to be doing what your doing. If you hack your own equipment for bug or security testing, it is very legal and even encouraged. Hacking and then patching your own equipment is the only way to harden your defenses.

on the contrare hacking should only be availible as legal but ONLY to them who spend 4 - 8 years in college programming school so in other words you need a permit to be able to hack although i do agree that a average person could get a hold of a hacking program easyly

Too many citizens can get a hold of hacking programs too easily .
