WEll done that you have health insurance, I have health insurance through my job.
But I think the primary problem we have is twofold: 1) How do we lower costs on healthcare, and b) If you lose your job, you lose your health coverage. Lets work on those two problems first, and than we will have a pretty good idea on how to make health insurance more affordable.
What do you suggest?

And besides, even if you buy your own health insurance does not mean you will be covered. Health Insurance does not gurantee that all of your medical b ills will be paid. Its just a pretence that supposedly will cover your medical costs.

Well your neighbor pays your bills in the following ways: 1) Municipalty taxes that go to fixing roads, fire and crime protection, public schools for your children, unemployment benefits. Those are some ways your neighbor pays for other people's problems.
Note that even though Obamacare has not yet taken effect, they also pay for emergency and medical treatment when they can't pay. So I thi bnk the idea of the mandate is to have everybody pull their own weight and buy insurance.

Why do foreigners come to the US for healthcare? A good question.
Well if you study your statistics, those foreign people who come here are filthy rich.
You won't find someone in a lower income coming to the US for healthcare.

What does a stupid american know about the good things about socialized health when they have been taught all their live that it's bad?
THEY DON'T. Because they're american and they hate the red side! They hate helping the poor and the sick. Which you really should do if you are a Christian american which many are. Also a reason they're stupid....
