actually I do know how RADIO FREQs work you twat. An EAS device is ENTIRELY different than an RFID. And RFID's don't TRACK anything. They ping it and relay a position based upon the reader. So, you said it yourself, what don't you get? There is no active relay of a signal, it's just a passive scan.
Nobody is going to implant some jabberwocky boogie man machinery in all your city streets and doorways all around the world just to track a fucking pair of jeans.

I'm all 4 freedom, privacy etc- but havent u guys noticed these things 4 like ova a decade? Alot of ppl think those square stickers r tracking devices- theyr not- they r 2 stop u from shoplifting, they make the beepers go off. Hell- I used 2 wear 1 on the inside of my clothes so I new if it didnt beep walking in, I could safely steal up a storm.

@mistydaze3 the shoplifting tags u speak of are not rfid,they are just metal tags. Rfid carries spe ific id data related to that individual item,it therefore can be read in differing locations and an algorythem /profile can be assembled from it
