Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY) became furious at his GOP colleagues during a debate over a 9/11 victims compensation bill. The bill would have provided up to $7.4 billion in aid to people sickened by World Trade Center dust. (July 30)

I am the most hardcore Republican that I know. I am really the definition of Ultraconservative. Still, I always had a special place in my heart for Mr. Weiner. He was just such a badass. It's a shame that in this country we let private issues lead to the resignation of great Congressmen.
