I met Tom back in '88 working at a Hollywood Studio , in the course of our conversation I told him we have two things in common with each other, he was REALLY curious at THAT moment! Then i said : One, we both have the same name Tom Jones and two.... we have both been out with the same woman, although NOT AT THE SAME TIME ... OF COURSE! And with my story , we hit it off! Plus , Doing karaoke I have been told that my impersonation of Tom is DEAD ON! Hey, I learned from THE MASTER!!

Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Oscar Peterson, Mahalia Jackson, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Tom Jones......what do they have in common? They were at the top of their game, and had no peers. None. (Of course, others may differ...just my two cents). Only Aretha and Tom remain from that group. Today's talent pool is shallower than a conversation with Britney Spears.
