Another lovely song.......my Granda used to sing to my brother and I when we were young...now we sing it as a duet....the words always make you think of the sacrifices which were made.

My late Dad fought through the six years of W.W.2. All he would ever say about it was, "What a waste!". Perhaps this sentiment sums up what these soldiers felt at the time the photograph was taken?
