I like the opening, but I don't think I saw this on the dvd, I have the one where the lion turns into a fanged ghoul, do I have the best version?

no wonder polanski disowned american version of the movie--this is AWFUL...the original opening sequence is g-zillion times better and more atmospheric!

The spanish Fearless Vampire Killers poster was also released in the U.S. in the standard 1-sheet version. I used to have both the "A" and "B" versions. The style "A" version is the drawing of the vampire with the two vampire killers, while the style "B" version has the painting of the vampire attacking Sharon Tate in the tub. I still have the "B" version.

I saw this version in 80's decade (Globo, ever). But, that I know, this cartoon was created for display in the United States (with new looong title: "Fearless Vampire Killers, or Pardon Me, But Your Teeth Are in My Neck").
If someone has the correct dates of each opening, please, enter here.
Thank you!
*In Brasil: "A Dança dos Vampiros"*

Hi! I'm a big , big fan of this movie and and have the DVD. I found the cartoon hilarious and agree that It should have been part of the DVD release. It's a bit Hanna/Barbera don't you think? I've also just purchased off ebay a Spanish original 1967 Fearless Vampire quad poster , which is absolutely brilliant and soon to be framed! I never get bored by watching this classic film, Roman Polanski , Jack Macgowran and the entire cast were perfect in their rolls........ R.I.P Sharon Tate!
i love the fearless vapire movie..it rules:)

Thank you.
I have loved this film since I was about 10.
It is my favorite of all vampire movies.
I loved the cartoon intro then and I do now.
There were two versions of the cartoon. The second version is the same except at the end Leo grows fangs and turns into a green vampire.
Love them both.
There was the original full length version of this movie.
There was an edited (comedy dubbed) version).
Then there was an edited non-dubbed version.
I am fortunate to have all 3 versions.
