to everyone wondering no super8 has notting to do with cloverfield in anyway its not a sequel/prequel its been confirmed my JJ n for any sequel news JJ had stated right after the first one came out they began shooting idea for a sequel/prequel but since its been pretty dim n not much has come from anything so it seems we will never have a sequel ever or for a very long time

But i would also like it to have a sequel where the monster survived the bomb and wreaks havoc somewhere else.
