  • Another great cheese worthy of trying is El Venadito. It is great for making fried cheese. Here is a recipe you might like to try: Take El Venadito and slice it in about 1/8 inch slices, fry in non-stick pan, no butter or oil, until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Top with guava paste. It can be bought at Publix, Sedanos, and Winn-Dixie in Miami. Being a mom, I highly recommend this snack for kids.
