Freight Around Ely, 6/4/09

Various Locations Around Ely all with in biking distance of the station. Filming Freight trains around Ely Which Include DBS 66 On Cemex, La Farge and Stone train from Bury St Edmunds. Also GBRf 66 on Intermodal to the north and A Freightliner 66 Running south with just air.

Sorry For the Wind Noise. But this is the Flatest place in the country.

Thank you mate. Indeed a real pain it is, Your correct it is that location at the junction where the Fen Line meets the Line from Ipswich.

Good locations those - yes wind and Fens go hand in glove! BTW from 2.30 time mark onwards on your film looks like the location where the loaded Le Farge couple of wheel sets derailed and destroyed the bridge when the derailed wagons got dragged onto the bridge over the river on 22 June 07? Have a look at the RAIB report.
