I hear this every once and a while, and I have an honest response to this; Aradia in her alive form sounded exactly as she did when she was dead. Why? No one noticed she was dead except Vriska and Sollux until Nepeta got her into the game, to which Aradia still asked her to keep her death a secret. I do put more emotion into my live!Aradia, but very, very slight. She constantly didn't want people to worry whether she was alive or dead.

But then again, that's my headcannon for you.

@DaniTheDoomMagnet Your headcanon is flawed. Aradia never 'sounded' like anything because it's explicitly implied in the comic that she only communicated online after her death. Her typing quirk didn't change- that's why none of the other characters noticed. It's also said that Sollux was unaware that she was dead; it's specifically put that he thought he was going crazy when she spoke to him. This makes it quite clear that there would be a major difference in her alive and dead voices.
