"The Secret Arch"
Interactive sound installation

The Secret Arch is an interactive installation based on an architectural feature in Grand Central Station, New York. Users of the Secret Arch interact with it by recording their secrets into the arch on site. The acoustic result is a mosaic of fragments of people's needs, passions, fears and phobias mixed with ambient sounds of Grand Central Station.

If you want to participate and share your secret, you can send a short, one sentence recording or an e-mail (which will be converted into voice), to secretarch(at)gmail.com. The recordings will be added to the Secret Arch sound library and will be played randomly during the exhibition of the work.
