Hardships of War

Sgt. Bill Allen is wounded while attacking a German position in the Battle of the Bulge. He is taken to an aid station and meets an old friend, but then is reassigned to a new unit. When he gets, the squad is weary and battle hardened.

We do not own any of the sounds in this movie or make any profit of them.

other than the fact that steven spielberg wrote your story or you stole lines from band of brothers or something like the luger scene, this was probably one of the best ww2 homemades ive seen. you kept the camera off the houses behind you really well and your actors were good too. nice video. next time make your own story tho haha

@infantryfilms2nd what i meant by this is that a few iof your lines and scenes, especially the one where the guy shoots himself with the luger accidentaly are quite noticably taken from band of brothers etc. what i meant was that this was a great vid, but it would be better if you wrote a more original story, and didnt use the SPR dday sound clips. (theyre waayyyyy overused)

@666thrashisback nobody shot themselves with a luger. Andy just had a luger and was showing it off (yes, like Hoobler does in Band of Brothers, but there's not much original paths you can take towards showing off)

@infantryfilms2nd ok but from what i gathered from "andy" dying shortly after showing it off i assumed he shot himself. would you mind explaining to me how he dies as i see no germans in that perticular part of the video?

Really great. The best thing I enjoyed was the lack of the most over used effect on youtube...muzzel flashes. The only time you see a muzzle flash is when it's dark, not in day light. Maybe a little smoke, that's all. I like Andy's M1 replica. Did he make it or buy it? I'm a big fan of the M1 Garand You could also really use an external microphone for better sound, such as a 'shot-gun' mic.Your .30 cal needs a little more detail. You guys are good, keep it up.
