Long ago when I was very ignorant and knew nothing, I did not like her voice. However, as I have gotten older, I find her singing sublime! Brava!

she has such a purely stunning voice! Not many opera singers touch my heart like her, she puts such emotion into it and in her body.

Al vele versies gehoord, maar zij zingt het als één van de betere sopranen. Prachtig.

I saw the TV presentation of this opera. This aria brought the house down - and justifiably.

Gheorghiu always touches me deeply, in a way maybe only Callas and Corelli have touched me. I just fall for their spinto color. This, here, is pure heart, despite all the impeccable technique involved: phrasing, breath, pitch... What voice! What musician! One totally moving Puccini heroine. Great, great singer.

I used to listen to this rendition alone...but now I split my time between this one and Maria Slatinaru (a sublime & very spacious spinto voice...do a search for "Maria Slatinaru Tosca" on youtube)...
