Jane Iredale loose shadows:

Aquamarine- Sorry, I forgot to mention that I was told this is a limited edition shade for Spring. Grab it! It's also a beautiful matte shade that goes on smoothly and has those lovely aquamarine reflects in it. It's a beautiful alternative to NARS Tropic shadow that's due this Summer.
Gold

OOPS! I meant that I swatched the shadows on Benefit's Eye Bright base!

Layer MAC's Aquavert over Aquamarine to soften the look and to get Aquavert to show up.

Eye Highlighter Pencil- $15, but if you save up your PureBeauty points you can get it for free.

  • i'm thinking of buying some of jane's products. what is your opinion on the staying power of the eyeshadows? do you feel like her makeup is worth the money?

  • I like her cosmetic line, but I wouldn't splurge on it for sure. The regular shadows are pretty, but they're very chalky and look so dry in the pans. It's pretty sad because she a few very elegant shades that I don't normally find in other cosmetic lines, but the formula isn't the best especially for the price. Some of the mineral shadows are beautiful, but you have to be very selective because some of them aren't pigmented and need to be layered over better shades.

  • I tried it on my lips and it seemed sort of frosted, but also light. So, I think it may have moderate staying power. But, it's seriously beautiful in person and I would try it out as a highlighter. You just might want to add a little powder shadow over it to set it.

  • Thanks! I haven't used any Jane products yet but I am very interested in trying the Eye Highlighter Pencil. I want to use it on the corners of my eyes, do you think it has pretty good staying power?
