@sucramnipp I mean that the characters in french cinema can diffuse or be interrelated to real outside as much as himself or herself ,not more not less...Consequently,reality becomes a fantastic film..(.I erase the last part of my fırst comment)

@melmertzel there we go, another random shot at american cinema. and the ironic thing is, american cinema is what inspired french filmmakers the most (melville, godard, truffaut, etc). if you read enough you'd know they all openly admit to this. there's plenty of great american films in the vein of le samourai

Every action is as much perfect as the life;not more ,not less...If Melville had wanted ,there would have been no fault and the film would have been the usual american (out of life)
