My cat loves this too. Even if the suction is so strong it knocks him over, he just comes back for more and even begs for more after I turn it off.

Beethoven: I know the noise bothers me, but it just feels soooooo good getting rid of the loose hairs, dander and fleas. I would put up with being vacuum cleaned all day just because it feels good. I'm also kind of hard of hearing for a cat as a cat with good hearing would run in fear when that beast vacuum cleaner starts up. .... Bye Bye fleas

You DO realize you can take the WHOLE wand assembly off and use JUST the hose with the brush, right?
Also, there are ways to decrease the suction, like for example not putting the brush in all the way on the hose.
Try it, it will work MUCH better, and you won't have half your cat being sucked into the vacuum cleaner, haha.
