  • The Austin A/Gas @ 0.18 has a very standard body and even appears to have standard Austin front wheels.

Very different from the Oddy and Mazmanian Austin cars later in the video!

Great soundtrack- the music actually matches the images on the screen!

  • 0:16 badass

  • It was great to see my Dads Anglia.Did I send you that pic?Its in pretty bad shape from hanging in the bar.The owners where Bob Jones and Johny Davis. The driver is Stormin Norman Debrino.I have some more pics of it also.On the trailer with me on it begging to go racing. Thanks again.

  • Looks like it. I LOVE that movie!

  • was that the a two lane blacktop look alike at the end.love that car.

  • Luv it. Sweet photos and yes, those were definately the days of Fun at the track. Too commercial now days.

  • I have 2 beaters I'm collecting parts for. One is a 63 skylark getting gassered with a 46 chevy truck axle 69 430 and 9"rear. the other is a 69 cougar that I was thinking looked too dowdy sitting in the weeds. I'm going to round up a 390 or 460 for it and jack it up 4-5" over stock maybe flip the rear to the bottom of the springs. so she looks like an f16 on deck ready to launch. I named the buick the white knight and the cougar is the red dragon and I hope to be able to run them together

  • Glad to see straight axle cars back in style. They say everything eventually comes full circle. I've built several straight axle cars over the years. Here's a helpful note- if you are contemplating building one, you can buy the complete "gasser" axle kit from several companies now.

  • Great pics thanks
