In this video I visit the San Gabriel Valley with the towns of MOnterey Park, Rosemead, Alhambra, Hacienda Heights etc. This is LA's little China and there are thousands of restaurants representing all kinds of Chinese Foods, even Islamic Chinese Food. I have heard that this is the largest population of Chinese people in the United States. Some of my Chinese friends say that if you know what restaurant to go to, you can get food that is better than in China. There are many delicious dumpling, dim sum, and handmade noodle shops.

I finally tried stinky tofu. You can read more about it on my blog. Stinky tofu is a fermented tofu made by mixing the tofu with different stuff like milk, vegetables and meat broth until it ferments.
I thought that since I love natto, and I love tofu I will also have no problem with eating stinky tofu, but I was very wrong. This recipe for stinky tofu is supposed to be one of the stinkiest, but I have heard that some aren't so bad. This particular recipe is meant to be like what you can find in the night market in Taipei, TAiwan, which is famous for stinky tofu.
