A repeat version of my films' appearance in episode 5 of BBC2's "The Home Movie Roadshow", this time without my interview and therefore much more of the films themselves.

Sadly this clip is silent because WMG music blocked for its original Buzzcocks soundtrack. How very punk of WMG.

Special thanks to Tom Lowe for his excellent digital copy of the clip.

  • 1978-1981 - punk was already becoming mainstream and passe as these images suggest. These people here have that 'hey Mr Sun photographer, wanna snap, I'm a punk me' look about them. By 1981 it was just a few sad diehards and those jokers who became the Oi lot. Sad.

  • To be forever young would be a cool thang!

  • Punks on Space Dust!!

  • @ElBerto I think it is!

  • Is that Siouxsie at 1:16?

  • (That can't be the blonde lass out of Bananarama at 2:22 can it?)

  • What is it with record corporations blocking "their" content on youtube? Its appearance on the site isn't making anyone money, but it could possibly make *them* money by giving the music exposure - i.e. it's free promotion for their wares! It's even more bizarre when music promo videos are blocked - there's a clue in the phrase "promo(tional)".
