On July 3, 2010, I got to ride along in the back seat of a 2011 Ford Mustang GT which was serving as a pace car at Daytona International Speedway. Brett Bodine is driving the pace car and doing a live interview with Sirius NASCAR Radio's Claire B. Lang. I would have uploaded this video earlier (like the 4th of July), but thought NASCAR would try to have it deleted. The video is shaky for the first 30 seconds while I tried to find my bearings. After that, it properly captures just how bumpy the old surface at Daytona really was. Of note, the concrete patch was actually at the summit of a small hill. Dead serious.
@alexander1485 I don't know, man. All I know is that it was being done live to tape. Claire B. Lang's probably one of the most well known and respected radio personalities that covers NASCAR. She can basically do whatever she want. She wanted to get an idea of how bumpy the track was. Also, because of Claire's presence, we (there were three of us in the backseat) couldn't talk to Brett, which bites.
