This was when KMEL was cool. I miss the old KMEL album caravan.

Anyone know who the presenters were here?

I definitely agree that the Pre-Cain lineup was the best, but I have to say in all honesty that I still like some of the Cain era too on it's own musical merits. I think it's really because I love Neal's always tasty playing and Perry's voice throughout their long and varied history. I mean, their first Album was just SO good, they were all playing like their lives depended on it! Maybe one day, Neal will appease the old-school fans like me and whip out "Of a Lifetime" on Tour before they quit.

Great- back in the go-go '80s when the Bammies rocked!

Wow I just found this what a treasure! I loved it, thanks for posting. Steve Perry is always the best! I wish they were still together!

I agree, ('78 Infinity~ '80 Departure!) "Escape" was a Good Bye Party... "Frontiers" was the last guy at the party with a lamp shade on it's head, & "Raised on Radio" was like when Oliver Joined the Brady Bunch, Jonathan Winters joined Mork from Ork & The Fonz became a school teacher!

Yup, Evolution and Departure.

This is the first time I've seen this clip. Where have I been? Thanks for sharing this, Kathy. Love it.
Yes, this was when he was passing the baton to Jonathan Cain.
