Agnetha Faltskog "Wrap Your Arms Around Me"
From The Album "Wrap Your Arms Around Me"
Released On May 31st, 1983
This Was The First Of 3 Solo Albums Following Abba.

WRAP YOUR ARMS AROUND ME
Wrap your arms around me
When you're so far away
At the end of each day
Counting the moments till you fade away
Inside my soul
Under passion's control
Are feelings I can't find the words
To explain
Just like the first time I'm helpless again

Wrap your arms around me
Let your love surround me
Make love to me now like never before
Wrap your arms around me
From the day you found me
You'll never be alone

The nights are so cold
With just your memory to hold
I've tried to be strong
Reaching out holding on
Alone in my bed
I cling to each word you said
Wanting you more everyday we're apart
And each precious moment is
Safe in my heart
Wrap your arms around me.

  • This is a great song, I have it on my iPod along with a few others by Agnetha =) I think that 2.50 is the prettiest picture of her.

I just wondered, how successful was Agnetha's solo career?

  • Hi Amber, thanks for looking in. In my opinion

her solo career before ABBA was more successful than after. All of these were in Swedish, and all after ABBA were in English. She did several solo albums after ABBA, and her last one (My Colouring Book) was her first album in 17 years! If you get to really know her Swedish songs like I have you would probably agree...but since I favor Aggy, I think there all great!

    Peace from Iowa (USA)...Jim~

  • Your favorite Agnetha song ?

  • It's probably in my top ten of Aggy songs. If I had to choose a favorite song it would probably be "En Sang Och En Saga"!

    Peace...Jim~

  • Nice video super sound thanks a lot!!

  • Thank you Maurice. Some of these songs just sound better than others, I'm not really sure why.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Whenever I read 'Aggy' I die a little inside. Her name is too beautiful to be reduced to 'Aggy'.

    Great song, though.

  • Thanks for this montage. Agnetha's crystaline voice has a healing effect upon me.

I feel a reverance for her and her ABBA bandmates. Joyous and serene.

  • I love this song ! Good morning! Sunshine!

  • This is one awesome song.......Did she make just 4 albums after ABBA? I wonder where you could buy them in the States today? Also, was this song part of a movie? Seems like I remember hearing it in a movie sometime in the past.....Maybe a James Bond movie ?

    Thanks
