I had a Mk1 back in 81, Rover V8, sold it, MISS IT LOADS now. Beautiful car mate, looks and sounds amazing. Forget what the Front wheel drive brigade say, you've got a work of art there, drive it well ;)

I have heard of a 289 swap, but a big block.... must have had to cut away some metal I would imagine... I owned a german built '76 back in the 80's, was my first car. This thing is truly making me sick to my stomach... Sweet car!
