Also with heart of an angle.

@liverpoolfcnewyork tbf rafa didn't exactly "help" youth development, i.e. selling warnock and guthrie and signing insua and lucas
-
@Tarre10 Sorry, but these are just 4 players and they proved nothing yet. Only Flanagan was really solid last season when he played and he didn't play much.

@subsoil007 May I point my finger towards Martin Kelly, John Flanagan, Jay Spearing and Jack Robinson?

fowler to re-sign for liverpool after a fat pile of charlie spotted at melwood...
-
@subsoil007 actually under Benitez the youth academy was completely reformed as he recognised how poor a set-up there was at Liverpool. It is now producing young lads capable of challenging for places in the first team (kelly, flanagan, morgan, robinson, etc). This is in no small part due to Benitez and his original ideas for the club to progress - your comment wildly inaccurate, thumbs down

@subsoil007 ... Now what do u think of the academy ???

@subsoil007 There are many reasons for lack of youngsters coming through youth ranks at Liverpool, but Gerd and Rafa are not responsible for our failure to produce quality youngster in last decade. Liverpool legend Steve Heighway was Director of youth development at Liverpool only two years, when he retired.
