You got through the worst part of the road very quickly! We did this road 2 years ago & never again! This road, and the one around West Maui, are the scariest roads I've ever been on. The "Road to Hana" is a piece of cake compared to them. Nice video--you even got the bumps in the road!

Awesome video. Not as bad a road as I was lead to believe. I had read that some rental car companies will not let you take their car that way around. (past Lindberg's grave). Well done!

the unpaved road on highway 31 is overrated! Drove it on June 27th 2011, I was expecting a rough trip, yet it turned out to be so easy driving with a tiny bit of pot holes bumps. Overall, the trip is well worth it.
