Opening titles to Sam Raimi's fantasy action adventure drama sequel Spider-Man 2 (2004), starring Tobey Maguire as the eponymous, young, web-slinging superhero, and Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson, the object of his affections. Here, traditional animated versions of shots from the first movie serve as a recap of preceeding events, and provide an interesting visual juxtapositon with the C.G. spider's web animation, creating both an aesthetic and dynamic contrast. Danny Elfman's rousing signature theme is also retained from the first movie. No copyright infringement intended. To be removed at the behest of the distributor.

I appreciate you asking but no. It is a good title sequence - I love the music Christopher Young added for the Venom infected web - however, I don't want to appear as though I'm endorsing the film, which was beyond disappointing and overstuffed with plot threads.

I think they're identical. Christopher Young's rendition for #3 is very similar up until he interrupts it with a theme for Venom.

I remember how much I was amzed looking at all this beautiful artowrk in the theater and back then I had never ehared of Alex Ross.The movie didn't disappoint me at all even though looking back atit it isn't as good. Its no because it isn't gritty and dark, no way, the feel of the movies was perfect. WHat made medislike it was that when Spidey decides to become SPidey again it isn't because he wants to save the innocent but only to save Mary Jane. It could have been written much better.
