the first numberis actually 0, thats y the 3rd number is a 1 becuz 0 + 1 = 2

I don't know much about it myself, but it seems to have a very wide range of applications even music and art.

When you count the number of petals of a flower you always end up with a Fibonacci number.

Also, the number of female bees over the number of males bees = the golden number (GN). Which in turn is the quotient of a(n) and a(n-1) where a is a Fibonacci number and n -> infinity.

And let's not forget that 1/GN = GN - 1 = (1+sqrt(5))/2
