This Ford cab over Snorkel was refurbished a few years back. The last of it's kind on Vancouver Island. March 2010.

  • Nice capture! You'd think they could have sprung for a better lighting system.

  • imprezzed42296, yeah those beacons are certainly not primary warning devices. They should be the rear of the apparatus.

Another catch: the C/CT9000 would not have been a regular-production model, at least not here in the USA. We did have the gas-powered C/CT900 version, though.

1975-1984. 1974 and earlier models had the "gear and lightning bolt" emblem on the front end, below the F-O-R-D letters.

  • what year is the truck?

  • I love it! I think the old school rotating lights look pretty cool! It'd look better if they were a couple ah model 17s tho :-)

  • I like the Beacons, but a small lightbar would work wonders.

  • That truck would be sexy as hell if it rocked an LED system.

  • Oldie but great old work horse don't see many in service any more
