wooden picture

*make sure to use a laser print copy (like a copy machine) on regular copy paper. it works best on smooth, sanded wood. you can buy the other supplies at your local craft store. -have fun :)

  • Tried 4 times to do this. Never worked. Laser copies, non laser copies, thinner paper. Paper either tore, came off completely or left a hazy, white residue.

  • @MrMaxxRo, i am not sure what the problem is, but if your wood is not sanded smooth, it could cause this issue. i hope this helps! best wishes.

  • I did this and won a scholarship!!

  • @KyOlar , awesome! congratulations!

  • you are soo cute : x

  • will do this tomorrow.. and you are cute. ;-)

  • @kisdon1 Thanks. Nice to know I wrote something useful!

  • @Amberburry make sure you are 1. using laser print, 2. wood is smooth 3. give good coat of mod podge 4. plenty on time to dry 5. gently rubing.... try again...i am sure it will work :-)

  • @zbyszekroyal Hi, i also tried just mod podge instead of gel medium and it worked miracle...brilliant...i did medium size coloured picture (15cm x 20cm) and it really came out nicely.:-)

  • Thank you for the short, but complete video. It's torture to watch those long video with people who talk way too much! :)

  • They don't sell mod podge in my country. Is there something else that I can use 2?

  • This is very cool - thank you. I used this as a starting off point and I learned something. You don't need the gel medium. And it can be a print from a laser-printer (on paper, of course). Follow the same instructions in the video...just use the mod podge only, use it as directed in the video AND use it in place of the gel medium. I talked to a crafter at ACMoore, and she told me that you can use EiTHER mod podge OR gel medium. you got me started on this crystalshea, so THANKS!

  • whats mod poge

  • oh my god its great thing yeah
