http://www.netbooknews.com The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is essentially a netbook with a detachable screen. It has a 10.1" IPS touch-screen sports a Android 3.0 operating system with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. You will be able to rock out with Adobe Flash, smooth HD video conferencing and playback.

The netbook form factor is surprisingly optional as the docking station is an accessory. This option however turns the the Transformer into a full-fledged notebook with a full QWERTY keyboard for desktop use. The battery life is also extending battery life up to 16 hours. The front camera is 1.2-megapixel and rear 5-megapixel there is also a mini-HDMI port.

Expect it to run you $400- $700 this coming April.

    (oh shit) Umm no.

  • Listening to him is excrutiating. Their ceo should go thru 6 months of accent removal training.

  • 1:04 "OK so this is the Transformer" whispering: "more than meets the eye" lol

  • @mshartz5 You have point on the laptop battery life, but I'm still not sold! Besides these tablets are moving more towards laptop capabilites......???.......back to square one.

  • @fury350z

Well it is nice to be able to work outside or at a different location other than home and not have to haul around my laptop with the power adapter, praying that there is an outlet near where I decide to sit.

I wasn't going to get a tablet until they were as capable as a netbook. This is as close as they will probably get. By using remote desktop, I am able to anything a laptop can do, but can do it for triple the amount of time.

  • @mshartz5 ooooooo....And???????????? I'm not a gadget geek so whatever!!! I still think its stupid!! Nothing you say will change that! Tablets are nonsense!!

    Have a good day!

  • @fury350z

You can get 17 hours battery life on one charge with your laptop? And you can instant boot it as well?

    I smell a lie.
