Game of Thrones audition

This is my 2nd and improved video submission audition for HBO's adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" A Game of Thrones. I was lucky enough to be able to do these 2 auditions with the help of a Casting Director and friend that i know. In this i got the sides for Theon Greyjoy and Jaime Lannister. Thank you for watching and i hope you enoy it and that i get called in and hopefully cast!! :)

@couldcause No I didn't, it was from the Sides (audition script) that were provided for the audition.

I thought that was amazing dude! Did you get given any roles in the series?

It could be said that the performances were a "little over the top", sort of like a comic book villain....but as I read the books, both Theon and Jaime struck me as exactly like that - both outrageously smug and over-confident most of the time. And I though you were able to deliver the more serious lines aptly, too. Well done, and good luck getting a role.

Take it down a notch, Kemosahbee! Your eyebrows looked like they were doing gymnastics, and you really shouldn't attempt an accent foreign to you again until you hire a coach. An American actor portraying a character with an English accent should sound like an Englishman... you on the other hand sounded like, well, an American doing a poor imitation of an English accent.

I liked you Jaime Lannister very much, your interpretation of the character was spot on, IMO. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for your Theon Greyjoy. Theon is arrogant, yes, however he is more the playful type, I think. You made him sound as if he was angry with everyone.

They and what the actors of ASoIaF have completely different accents.

Well someone should tell the production crew from HBO that they've got the actors affecting the wrong accent then... guess they're going to have to scrap all the film they currently have in the can and reshoot the whole darn thing. Anyone know what a proper accent of the Seven Kingdoms should sound like? I'm guessing a cross between Venutian and something from the Andromeda galaxy, no?
