Electric Motors tend to have more torque, and leave gas engines by the way side... although in these early days of transition from gas to electric... the car industry tend to utilize the smallest electric motors to weight ratio of car...robust electrical motors would outpace the fastest (Formula 1 racer)...... since fuel cars are only 20% efficient while electric motors are 90% efficient by comparison.

Πολύ cool αμάξι, όμως δεν το χω δει ποτέ να κυκλοφορεί στην Ελλάδα.

It's not an electric car, gas is exclusively input into it. (stock anyway)

I know everything you told me. Realize that my previous comment was written 7 months ago. Back in January, VERY few people knew about the new Insight; why, Honda was still constructing the idea. But yea, the 2010 Insight is great. But what sucks is that Honda kinda copied Toyota on the design of the Insight. The Insight looks too much like the Prius, so I tend to respect the Prius more than the Insight (also due to better fuel economy in the Prius).

The Insight is back and better than before its bigger and more powerful!! Its got four doors now.

Too bad they don't make the Insight in the U.S. anymore. That was a good car.

People have turbocharged these to get 0-60 mph in 7 seconds while maintaining the original fuel economy. Normally, they do 0-60 mph around 11 seconds or so. It is a hybrid and not a pure EV, but its chassis is sufficiently lightweight and body sufficiently aerodynamic that it would make an excellent conversion to a pure electric car.
