Evil Ryu unblockable on Guile

This is a set up that can lead to a unblockable against Guile. I've tried it on many other characters and so far it only works against Guile.

BTW, I found this out by watching Yogaflame24's video of a Evil Ryu player named Naga. Thanks to YF for uploading some high level Evil Ryu matches and props to Naga for showing us some new Evil Ryu technology.

Did you try this after a simple closeMP to HK Axe kick or standHP to EX AXe kick ?? I mean, is the dragon cancel a necessity ?

No, it's not necessary. you can do it after just a regular HK axe kick or EX axe kick.

With HK axe kick, I found that I could only do the unblockable if I hit confirmed with cr. LP first. I guess it's a spacing necessity.

After EX axe kick I found that I could only do the unblockable after whiffing a st. HP, whiffing a sweep didn't work no matter how much I tried.

is this really unblockable, or is this one of those things that you can block at the last second. As in, holding a direction is what gets you hit by it.

Well as far as I know, all unblockables can be blocked, it's just extremely hard to do it. If you did this against the CPU and set it to block everything then the CPU will block this and every other unblockable I think.

After the axe kick, does the sweep come immediately after? (I know it's to time the safe jump)

Or do you wait a slight millisecond, I can't seem to get the timing perfect.

I don't know the exact timing, but myself personally I am trying to do the sweep as soon as possible after recovering from the axe kick. Hope that helps.

@RiceEater483 You can't test them by using the computer though, just like you couldn't dot that in mvc2 with sentinels unblockable. I'm not sure why.
