People who are calling this film propaganda are not completely correct.. if it was propaganda it would not be showing how indoctrinated the people are. The way the camera lingers, or the inclusion of certain scenes and sentences is the director's way of showing the NK propaganda and indoctrination without commenting on it or preaching.

I am actually agree with Kyo Shiroma comment here... Yes, of course it's a propaganda and control state!!! But look how people doing when they have freedom! Gays enjoying themselves kissing passionately, men walking on the streets holding their pants , show stripes underwear ... They have no goal, direction or work etiquette ... Children in school in 6 grade can't read ( yes, it's in American school, according to Lou Dobb)... Was its like that 30-40 years ago?

MASS brain washing. North Korea is a cult. Keep the people in the dark, brain wash them, deny them access to knowledge, food, freedom and make the leader a God. They are children in the dark and the people of North Korea need to be free. I'd drop pamphlets over how other's live in free countries, then food and money. Funny how those things can change how people feel about the dictatorship.
